Gran fury
Gran Fury was a art movement mainly against Aids epidemic in America. There was an exhibition and strong advertisement campaign in the 80’s where their work was exhibited.

Joseph started making work in the 1960’s where there was a big movement in the art scene in America. He was a conceptual artist pushing traditional art boundaries which was nearly reaching it’s expiry date for what the people wanted to see in America. There was some comments on his work that this is aesthetics and not art.
He like to focus on typography and modern materials such as neon signs.
Barbara is a conceptual artist who was born in 1945 in New Jersey. Her work is again highly typographically based. Its very structural design with strong bold typography with mainly a consistant colour pallet of white black and red. Combining this with strong imagery.
jenny holzer
Jenny is a conceptual artist form New york. She was born july 1950 in Ohio and studied at Rhode Island school of Design, Ohio university and the university of Chicago. Her work is typically on a big scale and text focused. She plays with projecting text in a large scale onto an urban enviroment. She plays with how it react with architecture and sculptures.
filippo tommaso marinetti
Filipo Marinetti was Italian but was born in 1876 in Egypt. After his first couple years of his bachelors he moved to Paris to continue his studies. His work is highly influenced by the Futurism movement.
He was a poet, a designer and wrote novels.
His work is very playful on how the view will read the words in their heads (the poetic side of him). The typography took on the emotion of what the words should say, giving a huge amount of freedom and playfulness in his designs.
